After launching this technology at the 1982 "K" trade fair in Düsseldorf, Heatlock became the world's first manufacturer to rely on the benefits of ceramic insulation. (The thermal conductivity of ceramics is only 7% of that of steel.) Today, Heatlock supplies comprehensive solutions from individual nozzles to complete Moldflow-modeled hot runner systems.
